Features

Forms merchants actually publish

Build contact, popup, float, and multi-step forms in Admin. Style them to match your brand, then embed on Online Store pages or theme sections.

Setup

Live in three steps

No separate merchant password. Shopify OAuth opens the embedded app; shoppers never create an account with us.

Install on your shop

Log in with your .myshopify.com domain. Approve scopes. We store a shop-scoped session — not shopper accounts.

Create a form

Pick a template or start from Elements. Set appearance, after-submit behavior, and mail. Publish when ready.

Embed on the storefront

Use the Publish flow for theme deep links or paste the shortcode on an Online Store page. Forms load through the App Proxy on your shop domain.

Open in Shopify Admin

Enter your shop domain to install or reopen Smart Contact Form Builder.

FAQ

Answers before you write in

Install, embedding, mail, and data handling — jump to a matching question.

Do shoppers need an account with this app?

No. Shoppers only fill forms on your storefront. Merchants access the app through Shopify Admin after OAuth.

How do forms appear on my theme?

Publish into a theme section via the theme editor deep link, or paste the form shortcode on an Online Store page. Storefront requests go through the App Proxy path on your shop domain.

What Shopify permissions does the app use?

Least-privilege Admin GraphQL scopes for themes and Online Store content (read_themes, read_content, write_content). We do not use the Admin REST API. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Where do submission emails come from?

Configure Mail in each form and SMTP in Settings. You can use the app default sender, Google SMTP, or your own SMTP host.

Is the app GDPR-ready?

Yes. Mandatory Shopify compliance webhooks (customers/data_request, customers/redact, shop/redact) and uninstall cleanup are implemented. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
